Hi, I have been trying to get re-hired at Starbucks for a little while and have recently discovered that my former manager put me down as "un-rehireable" and I'm not really sure why... I had only worked at Starbucks for a few weeks and right before my training ended I was fired without any warning. During my training all the other Baristas were telling me how well I was doing and I was feeling pretty good about myself. I learned all the drink recipes and knew how to stock the pastry case, brew the coffee, etc. within my training period, so I was not expecting to be fired. It came as quite a shock, but she said that the job "just wasn't right for me" and suggested I apply at Forever 21 or something. I explained to her how much I loved working there and she said that if I still wanted to work for Starbucks, I could re-apply in three months. So, now I'm in the process of trying to find a new Barista position, but why would she put me down as "un-rehireable"? Is that normally what they do? I didn't have any problems with the other baristas (we all got along really well and some of us are still friends), I never had any problems with the customers, and I did everything I was asked to do so why "unrehirable"?? Help!! :(
